Mayfield Senior Julia Fitzgerald and English teacher Pam King have been named among CASDA’s “36th Annual Capital Region Students and Teachers Who Make a Difference.”
According to the listing on CASDA’s website, “Julia is an exceptional student ranked at the top of her class. Julia has excelled in all of her subjects, especially in math and science. In addition to being an honors student, Julia has been actively involved in Key Club, Varsity Volleyball, Student Council, and SPARRK Club. She is attending University of Pittsburgh in the fall to major in engineering.”
Of King, CASDA says: “Mrs. King’s care for students is unparalleled, and is seen in her attendance of school plays, and undertaking clubs, and rapport with students.”
