Mayfield Central School District welcomes Jaclynn DuMoulin as the new Assistant Principal of the Jr/Sr High School. Mrs. DuMoulin has worked for over 10 years in education and has held a variety of roles specializing in areas of mental health, special education, curriculum development and student support. In her most recent position she served as a High School Counselor & AP Coordinator at Hadley-Luzerne Jr/Sr High School. Prior to her career in education, she held the role of Assistant Director at Belvedere Health Services and also worked with at-risk youth and their families through the Department of Children & Family Services.
Mrs. DuMoulin is committed to fostering a positive learning environment at the Jr/Sr High School, where everyone feels valued and empowered. She believes that every student deserves a safe and inclusive environment where they can thrive academically and socially. She is eager to join the team at Mayfield and work alongside such dedicated educators to support our students’ academic and personal growth.
Mrs. DuMoulin has earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Russell Sage College and a master’s degree in school counseling from Long Island University. She has been a NYS Certified School Counselor since 2007. She also graduated from Molloy University with a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Building Leadership and earned an Extension Certificate in Work-Based Learning from Buffalo State College. Mrs. DuMoulin lives with her husband and their four children in Corinth, NY where they love living an active lifestyle and spend their free time hiking, camping and fishing. She is also a big fan of country music and has a passion for cooking.
