Student Achievement: Rising to the Top!
Mayfield Elementary School prides itself on providing our students with an education that equips them with the high level of skill required for the 21st century citizen. We also take great pride in helping create children of good nature and moral character. Our commitment to new programs center around just these, developing good character and student achievement.
In the 2007-2008 school year Mayfield continued to make great progress in student achievement. When compared to similar schools in the Hamilton, Fulton, and Montgomery counties (HFM), Mayfield Elementary School continues to be among the best.

Tickling the Ivories
I am excited to announce that beginning in September 07, students in grade 3-6 will learn to play the piano as part of their music and enrichment program. As students progress through their elementary years, we are confident that this new enrichment program will aid in the development of students’ mental and physical abilities.
Some of the benefits of playing the piano at a young age are to help children - preserve and develop their natural creative abilities, improve their natural learning process, stay focused and achieve goals, develop their fine motor coordination, and to persevere.
